Do you feel the change?

Hints of fall are approaching my window; the sky is changing its colors, sunsets coming earlier, trees losing their foliage and the shadows seem gentle and mild. After the hot summer we had with the harsh sun light and brutal weather I welcome this new season with delight and gratitude.

The vision outside inspired me to create a new pattern collection. I suddenly remembered a pattern I designed about year ago that has darker and dimmer colors then I usually use and contains imagery signifying ancient glory and timeworn splendor. Based on this pattern I created the Deconstructed Jewels Pattern Collection illustrating an atmosphere moodier and hazier (but not gloomy) with suggestions of lost light and upcoming shades.
